We motivate our Learners by ensuring that all opportunities at school offer a challenge that meets their needs in order to achieve. We believe that by being motivated to achieve, all the young people in our school learn.
Motivate, achieve, learn is a continual cycle for the young people at Mont a l’Abbe School.
We recognise the individual starting points of our learners and produce a bespoke pathway to move that child forward with clear opportunities for next steps and development of skills. We understand that some young people are not able or ready to learn without interventions which are put in place to move that learner to a place of readiness or motivation. We recognise that all behaviours are communication and that learners need to be supported to express their wishes and feelings.
Our aim at Mont a l’Abbe School is to ensure that we provide a broad and balanced curriculum which equips learners with skills for life and to leave school being as independent as they can possibly be.
